Local Impact Mini-Grants - Interledger Foundation

About

The Interledger Foundation's Local Impact Mini-Grants are designed to put funding directly into the hands of people working on financial inclusion at the local level. The program supports individuals and organizations that understand their community's barriers firsthand and are running initiatives to expand digital financial access. Funded projects focus on creating spaces for learning, discussion, and experimentation within neighborhoods, cooperatives, or local markets.

The grants support a variety of activities including meetups, workshops, hackdays, research, and storytelling, provided they emphasize open payments and digital financial infrastructure. Priority is given to projects serving communities in the Global South, rural areas, or peri-urban regions with limited access to formal financial services. Selected projects must be completed within six months of grant acceptance.
