About
What an amazing opportunity for the world’s wordsmiths! The International Writers’ Workshop (IWW) at Hong Kong Baptist University is calling for applications for its prestigious 2027 Writers-in-Residence Programme. This is your chance to immerse yourself in a vibrant literary community in the heart of Asia. Since its founding in 2004, the IWW has welcomed over 150 writers from more than 60 countries, creating a truly global network of creative minds. For four weeks, from late February to late March 2027, you will have the dedicated time and space to focus on your craft, connect with fellow authors, and engage with students and the public. The residency culminates in the IWW Literary Festival, centered around the inspiring theme of “Inheritance.” This is more than just a residency; it is an invitation to contribute to a global conversation, share your unique voice, and explore your creative potential in a supportive, intellectually stimulating environment. This could transform your academic and creative journey!
