Disability Rights Fund 2026 Grantmaking Cycle, Disability Rights Fund (DRF)
About
The Disability Rights Fund (DRF) 2026 Grantmaking Cycle is a transformative opportunity designed to shift power directly into the hands of those who live the experience of disability. This isn't just another funding stream; it is a radical commitment to the principle of 'Nothing About Us Without Us.' By exclusively targeting Organizations of Persons with Disabilities (OPDs), the DRF ensures that those leading the movement are the ones governed and staffed by persons with disabilities themselves. This program is specifically designed to catalyze change across Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South-East Asia, the Pacific, and Haiti, focusing on grassroots empowerment and systemic advocacy.
What makes this cycle truly special is its focus on intersectional advocacy. Whether your organization is tackling climate change, gender equality, Indigenous rights, or youth empowerment, the DRF wants to see how these issues intersect with disability rights under the framework of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). This is your moment to move beyond service delivery and lead the charge in human rights advocacy. If your organization is ready to challenge traditional hierarchies and build a more inclusive world, this grant provides the resources and the platform to make your vision a reality. Don't let this chance to strengthen your community's voice pass you by!
