Global EbA Fund Medium-Size Grants Call for Proposals
About
The Global EbA Fund Medium-Size Grants represent a visionary movement to safeguard our planet’s future through nature. Administered by the IUCN and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) with support from Germany’s International Climate Initiative, this fund is designed to move beyond isolated pilot projects. It seeks to ignite systemic change by backing initiatives that strengthen enabling environments for Ecosystem-based Adaptation (EbA). By connecting the vital agendas of climate change, biodiversity loss, and disaster risk reduction, the fund empowers organizations to turn proven methods into replicable, investment-ready models.
This is more than just a grant; it is a call to action for those ready to scale existing efforts and draw private and blended finance into the adaptation space. The fund prioritizes innovative finance, human security in fragile settings, and policy coherence across the Rio Conventions. If your organization is dedicated to grounded, community-led change and possesses a clear theory of change for how nature can protect people, this opportunity opens doors to global recognition and transformative impact. Imagine your project becoming the blueprint for resilient ecosystems worldwide.
